This thing is amazing! I use it for budgeting, planning, scheduling and reading. It has replaced my "brain" or pocket calendar I used to carry everywhere. The size is large enough to read comfortably without it being too heavy, it holds a charge like a dream, the backlight is adjustable to warmer settings with migraines this was paramount for me! The price is a bit steep but I got mine during prome deal days and I don't regret it at all. I absolutely love my scribe and I take it everywhere with me. I did put a case on it that has a hard plastic back to protect it and has a pen slot that's magnetic. So far I've had no issues at all and I've had it a few months. I charge it maybe once every 2 weeks with daily use of an hour or so.
Debated back and forth between the scribe, and a normal kindle, and I’m so glad I went with this model. It’s beautiful and sleek, and absolutely love the notes feature. Very easy to use. The only drawback might be that the larger size is a bit more awkward to hold at night if you’re lying down, but there’s always around that. Looking into some stands now! Regardless I wouldn’t trade it for a smaller kindle. Worth it.
I almost sent this back, I’m not a reader but I needed it for notes, my ADHD causes me to scribble on everything, now I take this to work to help and it has worked so great. I almost bought a tablet that had a notes app and remembered that less is more for my ADHD mind. Helps me focus on my notes. I can also tally my totals for the day, write them in my calendar and erase the tallys, so no messy scribbles. I used to write on the dumbest things, like the back of mail and then I would lose them. I've lost several recipes for my business this way. If you are like me buy it.
